Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Service, the Scag Customer Service Supervisor primary responsibility is to serve as the liaison between the Company and its customer base by supporting customer inquiries, complaints and order processing and successfully managing their team.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide a point of contact for external and internal customers that will be responsible to supply updates and feedback regarding customer account information
  • Understand the unique aspects of your customer account
  • Act as a liaison between external customer and other areas of the Metalcraft/Scag organization
  • Ensure customer documents are handled and process accurately, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work with manufacturing team to ensure customer expectations are achieved
  • Monitor and track customer delivery performance ratings
  • Monitor and maintain customer web based programs
  • Respond to customer phone calls, e-mail and faxes in a timely and professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Exceptional people skills in working with external customers and internal customers
  • Strong team player
  • Solid focus on customer expectations and needs
  • Basic understanding of materials planning and inventory concepts
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Creative thinking skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer relations
  • Associate degree with a business emphasis
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Customer Service
  • SAP knowledge helpful
  • Basic knowledge of word and excel
