Responsibilities

Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembler is responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies to produce finished components according to work instructions, blueprints, and quality specifications.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position ideal for someone who enjoys building, working with tools, and seeing a finished product come together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and subassemblies according to work instructions and specifications.

  • Read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, parts lists, and measurements.

  • Gather the necessary parts, tools, and materials to complete assigned work.

  • Position and fasten components using hand and power tools.

  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and quality.

  • Measure completed components to verify they meet specifications.

  • Identify assembly issues and work with supervision to resolve problems.

  • Complete required production and quality documentation.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

  • Follow all company and plant safety policies and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience preferred.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to read or learn to read basic blueprints, measurements, and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good hand and finger dexterity.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions.

  • Previous forklift experience is a plus.

  • Previous electrical or heavy equipment assembly experience is a plus.

  • Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
